Mt. Kenya Hiking Adventure

• Pick-up from Nairobi and drive to Naro Moru.

• Begin a 9 km hike through montane forest and bamboo zone to Old Moses Camp (3,300m).
• Overnight in mountain huts – enjoy sunset views of Mt. Kenya's peaks.

• After an early breakfast, embark on a 14 km hike through the Mackinder Valley.
• Stunning views of alpine terrain, giant groundsel, and lobelia along the way.
• Arrive at Shipton’s Camp (4,200m) in the late afternoon.
• Overnight stay in the shadow of the towering Batian and Nelion peaks.

• Pre-dawn start to summit Point Lenana (4,985m) by sunrise—a dramatic and rewarding ascent.
• Descend via Sirimon–Naro Moru route to Mackinder’s Camp, then onward to Met Station (3,050m).
• A long, scenic day with up-close glacier views and rugged terrain.

Morning pick-up from Met Station and drive to Naro Moru town to connect with transport back to Nairobi or next destination.
