Itinerary
Day 1 :
Nairobi – Maasai Mara (Kenya)
- Morning pick-up from Nairobi hotel or airport.
- Scenic drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and check-in.
- Afternoon game drive (4–6 pm) in search of the Big Five and dramatic savanna scenes.
- Overnight in safari camp or lodge inside/outside the reserve.
Day 2 :
Full-Day in Maasai Mara
- Early breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
- Explore river crossings, open plains, and the rich ecosystem that defines the Mara.
- Return to camp by 5 pm for a relaxed evening.
- Optional: Maasai cultural visit.
Day 3 :
Maasai Mara – Entebbe (Uganda)
- Morning transfer to Nairobi for afternoon flight to Entebbe.
- Airport pickup and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
- Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.
Day 4 :
Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Depart early for Queen Elizabeth NP via scenic countryside.
- Afternoon game drive enroute to the lodge.
- Later, enjoy a boat safari on Kazinga Channel, known for elephants, hippos, crocs, and birdlife.
- Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge.
Day 5 :
Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha sector.
- Chance to spot tree-climbing lions along the way.
- Overnight near one of the gorilla tracking sectors: Ruhija, Buhoma, Nkuringo or Rushaga.
Day 6 :
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
- Early breakfast, followed by Gorilla trekking with experienced guides and rangers.
- Spend up to one magical hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat.
- Return to lodge for relaxation and overnight.
- A truly life-changing experience.
Day 7 :
Bwindi – Entebbe / Kigali
- After breakfast, transfer to either Entebbe Airport or Kigali International Airport for departure.
- Optional: overnight in Kampala or Kigali upon request.
